Working with 3D Models

Supported 3D File Formats

Ario supports .reality and .usdz file types. If your 3D files are in another format, we suggest converting your file into a compatible file type with exporting tools like Blender, Maya (AutoDesk), or Substance Painter (Adobe).

We also support archive files (ZIP) that contain your 3D reference files.

3D Files on Mobile Devices

Some 3D file types are not supported across all devices.

For example, .reality is not supported on Android devices, if your team works primarily on Android devices, use .usdz file formats.

If your team works primarily on iOS devices you can use .reality or .usdz.

When uploading an archive file (ZIP) we will convert your reference files into .usdz which is supported on iOS and Android devices.
